A cold day but unfortunately, dull and overcast.
Dave and I met at Seaton Sluice and headed north towards Woodhorn again. This time we took in Cambois on the way out, a diversion which involved me falling off the bike after failing to negotiate a cycle-unfriendly level crossing. I suffered no more than a bruised thigh and a severe loss of dignity and recovered to cycle on towards Woodhorn and the QEII Country Park.
As previously our next stop was Newbiggin and a visit to Caffe Bertorelli. After our stop we headed back home and completed the 41 mile round trip by early afternoon.
